Vitamin B5 is a key component of coenzyme A (CoA) and acyl carrier protein (ACP):

  • Metabolic function: Participate in over 100 metabolic reactions such as fatty acid synthesis and decomposition, tricarboxylic acid cycle, cholesterol synthesis, etc
  • Skin Health: Promotes epidermal repair (used for burn and wound healing)
